Cameron is from the Island and has quickly established himself as one of the brightest young talents on the London music scene. He is currently in year 1 of his jazz degree course and is already holding his own amongst seasoned professionals of the UK jazz scene. His quartet is made up of year 1 jazz degree students at Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London, and includes some similar rising stars of the UK jazz world and it will be great to see them in action down here. The lineup includes Kielan Sheard on bass, who was a finalist in BBC Young jazz musician of the year 2020. The quartet puts a new twist on old standards as well as their own music. A few influences include Roy Hargrove, Herbie Hancock and McCoy Tyner.
